Azanda & Associates was established in autumn 2015 when two well-known and highly ranked Latvian lawyers, Laine Skopina and Ieva Azanda, joined forces to open a new human-sized law firm in Riga. Their decision came after years of being partners at market leading law firms serving large industrial clients. With their newly established law firm, they wanted to shift focus to something more personal and humane after working with large clients who, unfortunately, often remained faceless.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, there was one thing they were not willing to compromise. They wanted to maintain in their operations the same standards they had got used to when working in larger law firms. Therefore, the selection of the new office\u2019s case management tool was quite obvious. They had both been using CSI Lawyer and were satisfied with the functionality it offered for managing and invoicing legal cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCSI Lawyer has adapted well also to the needs of our new company. We took the system into use as a cloud service, which works well and is a worry-free solution for us. Now we don\u2019t have to think about the security or capacity of the system environment\u201d, states Ieva Azanda, Partner at Azanda & Associates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the unquestionable benefits of a small office is agility. The lawyers at Azanda & Associates have been eager to benefit from new ways to make time entries. CSI Outlook AddIn, which enables adding billable time entries to CSI Lawyer from Outlook e-mails, appointments and tasks, has already proved to be highly useful. Currently they are testing CSI Mobile, which allows time entries from mobile devices, and have high expectations towards this application, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
